7 card casino game
Online casino sites to play on real money
Try a young children’s version of this game, stealing bundles. In this simplified version, players can only capture cards by pairing. Captured cards are kept face up. A player can steal another’s captured-cards pile if he plays a card that matches the top one on the stack. The winner is the player who ends up with more than half the cards.
- Capturing a card by pairing: A card from the player’s hand matches the rank (number) of a face-up card in the middle. The player places his card down and then collects the matching pair for counting at the end of the game.
- Capturing cards by combining: A player can capture numerical cards (ace to 10 — not face cards) in combination if the value of the cards adds up to the value of a card in the player’s hand. For instance, a player with an 8 could capture a 6 and 2.
- Capturing cards by pairing and combining: A player can execute the above two moves simultaneously if the middle cards support the maneuver. For example, if a player has a 9 and the board shows a 5, 4 and 9, then he may take the combination (5 and 4) and the pair (9) at once.
- Building: A player may build a combination on a middle pile by adding one of the cards from his hand, if he has the card that the new combination will add up to. For example, if there is a 2 in the middle and a player has a 6 and 8 in his hand, he can place the 6 on the 2 and declare, “building eight.” the player who does this may not capture the cards from this build until his next turn. If any of the other players has an 8, he may steal this build before it gets back around to the original player. Face cards cannot be part of builds.
- Building on builds: A player may build upon another player’s build if he has a card that will total the value of the three cards in the build. In the above example, a player with a 9 and ace could build ace, 6, and 2 and declare “building nine.” similarly, the player must wait a turn to capture this build if no other player does first.
- Trailing: if a player cannot capture any cards, or for strategic reasons wants to lay off a card, he may play a card face-up in the middle. Other players may then capture or utilize this card.

Game play
Deal four cards to each player and deal four cards to the middle and spread them in a line, face-up. The traditional way to deal casino is two-by-two, to each player and the middle.
The first turn goes to the player to the left of the dealer and continues clockwise. Each player makes a play with one card from his hand in an attempt to capture as many cards as possible. The player must turn the card he plays face-up and place it on the table in view of all players before it is used to build or capture. The possible plays are as follows:
The dealer replenishes the hands of the players after each round, but not the middle cards.
Objective
There are multiple ways to score points in casino. Generally, capturing many cards is a good way to end up with many points. Points are scored for having the following in your card pile:
Majority of cards (27 or more): 3 points
majority of spades (7 or more): 1 point
big casino (the 10♦): 2 points
little casino (the 2♠): 1 point
aces (each): 1 point
For the first two benchmarks, if no one achieves the minimum number, the points are not awarded. The first player to reach 21 points is the winner.

7 card stud poker
7-card stud is played with a 52-card deck. You are delivered two down cards and one upcard. There is a round of betting, then three more upcards are delivered (with betting after each round), then a final downcard and a final round of betting. The best 5-card poker hand wins the pot. All 7-card stud games at the bicycle casino have structured betting. In a structured game, such as
$3-6, the smaller bet is made on the first two betting rounds and the larger bet is made after the fifth, sixth and seventh cards are delivered. If there is an open pair on the fourth card, the players have the option of making the small or larger bet. In all 7-card games, a bet and three raises are allowed.
HIGH/LOW SPLIT
This is another variation of 7-card stud where there can be two winners. The best high hand splits the pot with the best low hand. In most games, however, in order to win the low hand, the player must have an 8-low or better. This is said to be a 'qualifier'. If there is a qualifier, the betting rules are like 7-card stud, where the high hand bets first. In a 'no-qualifier' game, the razz (7-card low- ball) rules apply. In either case, the bet on the fourth card is the smaller bet. In an 8 or better game, if there is no low, the high hand wins the entire pot.
RULES FOR 7-CARD STUD
The buy-in for all 7-card stud games is generally 10 times the minimum bet.
Check and raise is permitted.
The ranking of hands is the same as in draw poker, except there is no joker.
An all-in wager of less than half a bet does not reopen the betting for any player who has already acted and is in the pot for a previous bet. A player facing less than half a bet may fold, call or complete the wager. An all-in wager of half a bet or more is treated as a full bet, and a player may fold, call or make a full raise.
A bet and three raises are allowed for each betting round. However, completing an opening forced bet does not count as a raise. If only two players remain before the third raise is made, then there is no limit on raises.
String bets or raises are not allowed. Putting a half-raise or more into the pot must be completed. Anything less is a call only. A player who puts a single chip into the pot that is larger than the bet to him is assumed to have called the bet, unless he announces raise.
No pot may be awarded until all losing hands have been killed. The winning hand should remain face up until the pot is awarded.
Suits do not count in ranking of hands to determine the winning hand. The ranking of suits is used only to determine the lowest card for a forced bet, drawing for seats in games, etc. Suits are ranked spades (highest), hearts, diamonds and clubs.
A card found face up on the deck (boxed card) shall be treated as a 'scrap of paper', and is ignored. A joker, when found in a game that does not use a joker, is also a 'scrap of paper'. A card being treated as a scrap of paper is replaced by the next card below it in the deck when possible. If not possible, it is replaced at the end of that round. If a player does not call attention to the joker among his down cards before acting on his hand, then he has a foul hand and forfeits all rights to the pot and all monies involved.
A player who antes and/or asks to be dealt-in, but is unable to make it back to the table when it is his turn to act on his hand, forfeits his ante and his forced entry bet, if any. His hand is dead and will be discarded in turn.
If a player does not have the correct number of cards on the deal and no action has been accepted, the hand will be a misdeal. If there has been action ('action' defined as two or more players, except the forced opener, acting on their hands in turn) before the mistake is noticed, the player with the incorrect number of cards will have a dead hand; he will receive his money back, unless he has forfeited that right by acting on his hand.
If a player folds his hand after making a forced bet or on a round of checking, his seat will continue to receive a card until there is a wager.
If a player's first or second hole card is accidentally turned up, the third card is dealt down. If the player fails to receive two down cards, the player has a dead hand and receives his ante back.
If a dealer burns and deals a card before a round of betting has been completed, that card or cards must be eliminated from play along with an additional card for each remaining player in the hand, after that round of betting has concluded. Play then resumes in a normal fashion.
If a dealer burns two cards or fails to burn a card, if possible, move the cards to the right position to rectify the error. If it happens on a down card and there is no way to tell which card was received, then the player must accept the card.
If the dealer turns the last card face up to any player, and there are more than two players, all remaining players receive their last card face down. Prior to action for the round of betting, a player whose last card is exposed will have the option of being live in the wagering or being declared all in.
If there are only two players remaining and the first player's final downcard is dealt face up, the second player's final downcard will also be dealt face up, and the betting proceeds as normal. In the event the first player's final card is dealt face down and the opponent's final card is dealt face up, the player with the exposed card will have the option of declaring all in. This decision must be made prior to any action on that round. In all situations where a final card is exposed, the player who is high on the board using all the up-cards will start the action.
On all fixed limit games (i.E., 3-6, 5-10, etc.), if a player makes an open pair on the fourth card, that player has the option of betting either $5 or $10 (5-10 limit). If he bets $5, the next player(s) may raise in increments of $5 or $10. If a $10 bet or raise is made, the next raise must be in increments of $10 (i.E., player A bets $5, player B raises to $15, player C has the option of calling the $15 bet or of raising to $25. He may not make it $20.) if that player checks, all other players, in turn, have the option to bet $5 or $10.
If there are not enough cards left in the deck for each player, the dealer is to deal all the cards except the last card. He then scrambles the last card and the four burn cards, cuts the deck, burns a card and delivers the remaining down cards, using the last card if necessary. If there are five players remaining with-out a card, the dealer will not burn so that each player may receive a fresh card. If the dealer determines that by using this procedure there will still not be enough cards for all the players, he cannot give any of the players a downcard. Instead, he is to announce to the table that there are not enough cards to go around and a community card will be used. The dealer will then burn a card and turn a card up in the center of the table. That card plays in everyone's hand. The player with the highest hand initiates the action.
A player who calls when he is beaten by his opponent's up cards is not entitled to a refund.
A player must have seven cards in order to win. Any other number of cards constitutes a dead hand. Players must protect their own hand.
A card accidentally dealt off the table must play. If it is the last card, it is to be treated as an exposed river card.
The splitting of pots among players will not be allowed under any circumstances in any game. All hands must be played to completion.
When a player turns any of his up cards over after a bet has been made, he risks losing all rights to the pot.

Seven card stud poker
Compile the best five-card combination and defeat all foes.
How to play: seven card stud poker
Object of the game
The goal of each player is to win the pot, which contains all the bets that the players have made in any one deal. A player makes a bet in hopes that they have the best pot, which to give the impression that they do. In most poker versions, the top combination of five cards is the best hand.
The deal
Each player receives two cards face down and then one card face up, dealt one at a time in rotation.
The play
After the initial deal, there is a betting interval.
Each active player receives three more face up cards and one more face down card, with a betting interval after each round of cards dealt.
In the showdown, each player turns up all of their hole cards and selects five of their seven cards as their hand. The player must separate these cards from the other two, which they discard.
The player cannot reclaim their discards upon finding that a better five-card combination could have been made.
Poker hand
Five of a kind - this is the highest possible hand and can occur only where at least one card is wild, such as a joker. Examples of five of a kind would be four 10s and a wild card or two queens and three wild cards.
Straight flush - this is the highest possible hand when only the standard pack is used, and there are no wild cards. A straight flush consists of five cards of the same suit in sequence, such as 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 of hearts.
Four of a kind - this is the next highest hand. An example is four aces or four 3s.
Full house - this colorful hand is made up of three cards of one rank and two cards of another rank, such as three 8s and two 4s.
Flush - five cards all of the same suit, but not all in sequence, is a flush. An example is Q, 10, 7, 6, and 2 of clubs.
Straight - five cards in sequence, but not all of the same suit is a straight. An example is 9♥, 8♣, 7♠, 6♦, 5♥.
Three of a kind - this combination contains three cards of the same rank, and the other two cards each of a different rank, such as three jacks, a seven, and a four.
Two pairs - this hand contains a pair of one rank and another pair of a different rank, plus any fifth card of a different rank, such as Q, Q, 7, 7, 4.
One pair - this frequent combination contains just one pair with the other three cards being of different rank. An example is 10, 10, K, 4, 3.
No pair - this very common hand contains "nothing." none of the five cards pair up, nor are all five cards of the same suit or consecutive in rank. When more than one player has no pair, the hands are rated by the highest card each hand contains, so that an ace-high hand beats a king-high hand, and so on.
High card flush
Introduction
High card flush made its debut at harrah's laughlin in summer 2011. In february 2013 it found another placement at the M in las vegas. After that slow beginning the game caught on and today has lots of placements.
The game follows a fold or raise structure, like caribbean stud poker and three card poker. Where it differs is in the hand ranking, which is all about making the highest possible flush out of seven cards.
Rules
- High card flush is played with a standard 52-card deck of playing cards.
- To begin play, each player makes the mandatory ante wager, and if desired, the optional bonus wager.
- The player and dealer each receive seven cards face down.
- Hands are evaluated in the following fashion:
- The first ranking criteria is the greatest number of cards in any one suit. This is referred to as the "maximum flush." for instance, any hand with a maximum four-card flush beats any hand with a maximum three-card flush, but loses to any hand with a maximum five-card flush.
- The second ranking criteria is the standard poker-rankings for flushes; that is, a hand with a maximum four-card flush of K-Q-J-T would beat a hand with a maximum four-card flush of K-Q-J-9, but lose to a hand with a maximum four-card flush of A-4-3-2.
- Each player then decides upon one of the following options:
- Fold, and surrender the ante.
- Raise, placing a second bet equal to at least the ante. The maximum amount of the raise wager depends on the rank of the player?S hand:
- With a two-, three- or four-card flush, the maximum raise wager is equal to the ante wager.
- With a five-card flush, the maximum raise wager is double the ante wager.
- With a six- or seven-card flush, the maximum raise wager is triple the ante wager.
- Once all players have decided, the dealer turns over his seven cards and evaluates his hand in a similar fashion as described above.
- If the dealer does not have at least a three-card flush, nine-high, all remaining players have their antes paid, and the raise bets are pushed.
- If the dealer has at least a three-card flush, nine-high, his hand is compared to each other player:
- All players with a higher-ranking hand win, and have their ante and raise wagers paid at even money.
- All players with a lower-ranking hand lose, and have their ante and raise wagers collected.
- Players with the exact same ranking hand as the dealer push both their ante and raise wagers.
- Finally, any player who made the bonus wager has his hand evaluated against the bonus paytable, and the bonus wager is either paid or collected as necessary.
Mousseau strategy
Charles mousseau determined that without regard to cards not part of the highest flush, a close to perfect strategy is to raise on T-8-6 or higher. The player should always make the largest allowed raise bet. This strategy has a house edge of 0.06% higher than optimal strategy.
That means to raise any four-card or higher flush, and any three-card flush of rank T-8-6 or greater. For example, you would raise J-3-2, but fold T-7-5.
The following table shows the probability and return for each possible event under the mousseau strategy. The lower right cell shows a house edge of 2.71%.

High card flush advanced strategy
Wizard of odds contributor gordon michaels has published a high card flush advanced strategy. His strategy considers the suit distribution of the penalty cards with T-3-2 to T-9-8. The bottom line is a house edge of 2.6855%. Please click the link for the specifics.
Optimal strategy
An optimal strategy has yet to be put in writing. However, we can narrow it down, as follows.
- Make maximum raise bet with J-9-6 or higher.
- Fold 9-7-4 or lower.
- You're on your own with 9-7-5 to J-9-5.
The following table shows that under the unknown optimal strategy the house edge is 2.64%.

- All told, when the player plays optimally, the player will raise 67.86% of the time.
- The dealer will have a qualifying hand 75.36% of the time.

Double or nothing bonus round:
Whenever you get a winning hand, double or nothing, a bonus round is triggered inviting you to play and win double your winning amount. Click on ‘NO’ if you don’t want to play the bonus round and get away with the prefixed payout of the winning hand. Click on ‘YES’ if you wish to play the bonus round. Your winning amount is doubled when you choose to play this bonus feature. In double or nothing, six cards are dealt face up and one face down. You need to predict whether the face down card is big or small. The big cards in the game are 8,9,10, jack, queen and king and the small cards are ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Every time you predict the card correctly you win a bonus reward which is the double of your winning amount.
To illustrate: let’s say that you have won a straight hand at the bet of one credit, and you win $10. When you click on ‘YES’ to play the double or nothing bonus round, your winning amount will be doubled to $20. Then a total of seven cards are dealt to you out of which one card is face down and the rest are face up. You need to predict whether the hole card (face down) is big or small. If you click on big and you get 10, you win $40. But if you click on big and you get 2, you lose your entire winning.
Note: if you choose the ‘NO’ option after playing one or more bonus rounds of double or nothing, you get half of your bonus win.
7 card stud poker strategy
The game of 7 card stud poker is an interesting version of video poker. Seven cards are dealt in the game. The first and third cards are revealed in the beginning of the game. You can place multiple wagers to reveal other cards. Other cards can be dealt one by one with different betting amounts or can be dealt all at a time by clicking on ‘deal all’ button.
There is no calculated fool-proof strategy to win in this relatively new casino game. However, you can study the combination of cards and wager more if the cards seem to be fetching a win. If you get good cards in the first deal, you can wager more coins expecting those cards to turn a winning combination. However, if two bad cards are dealt in the beginning, you can bet less to keep your losses to the minimum.
The card combinations that can fetch a win:
- If you get two pairs of aces in the starting hand, you can wager more to reveal other cards.
- A pair of kings in the starting hand also has great potential to win.
- A pair of queens is a strong combination of high cards to fetch a win.
- Both ace & king in the starting hand are strong but has to be supported by other cards to build a pair with either hand.
- A pair of jacks in the starting hand also stands a chance to win. However, it relies a lot on the other cards to be dealt and support.
- If you get three cards of same rank after two deals, you can wager more expecting two other cards of the same rank and making a five of a kind.
The poor card combinations:
Keep your betting limit as less as possible if in the beginning you get two and six, two and seven, two and eight, three and seven, three and eight to avoid losses.
Play the bonus rounds carefully:
The bonus rounds are different from other video poker games. Unlike other video poker rounds you do not get the option to select one higher card than the dealers up card. Here you have the choice of only one card. You have to click whether it is a big or a small card. Since the probability of winning is less, you should not risk the winning amount and play the bonus rounds.
However, if you are confident then you can dare to play and optimize your chances of winning.
7 card stud poker has loads of opportunities for players. The only effort required on the player’s part is to follow certain basic tips to boost their performance and profits in the game.
Free casino game:
Beginners in the game of 7 stud poker must spare some time for practice on the free casino game. Free casino game of 7 stud poker will give you a practical overview of the pattern in which the double and nothing bonus round gets you the doubles of your per hand win.
Alter your wager:
You can place four wagers in every single hand of 7 card stud poker and you can increase or decrease the size of your wager according to your wish. Some mindless players think that wagering with the highest limit on all the four bets will massively enhance their chances of getting huge returns. However, that’s not true! The player needs to alter the limits of his stake based upon the cards that they get. You must always play with the lowest limit on your first and second wager. Whether you should raise the limits of your bet on the last two deals or not, largely depends on the sort of cards that you draw in the first two deals. Let’s say that if you deal in the K, Q and J as the first three cards, you are more likely to get a straight if you deal in 10, 9 or may be a joker. So, raise your betting limit if the first three cards point towards a hand which is a straight or better or else keep betting on the lower limits.
Check out the payouts:
Make sure you read the payout table thoroughly to get a clear idea of the payouts attached to the different winning hands and the various betting limits.
History of 7 card stud poker
The history of 7 card stud poker is shrouded in mystery but some theories claim that it emerged as one of the variants of the game of stud poker, which was extensively played in the american civil war. The 5 card stud poker was the first variant of stud poker that officially emerged in the american hoyle in 1864. Still it could not surpass the popularity of draw poker until 7 stud poker was introduced in the early 20th century. The game of 7 stud poker became so popular that earlier all the major poker tournaments were based on this game.
The game is still considered to be one of the most famed variants of the stud poker in the streets of vegas. Internet gaming operators have made the game even more exciting by bringing in wonderful animations like the image of california mouse flipping the gold coin. With the lovely lavender color scheme in the back drop you won’t be able to take off your eyes away from the screen. The other images of a doe (female mouse) and the crumbs of cheese on the cards in place of standard images of kings and queens is definitely a good break from the traditional set of playing cards.

7 card stud poker
As you probably know, holdem is the most popular game today. But what many new players don't realize is that until recently the most popular game was 7 card stud poker.
Most of the same skills that apply to win hold'em play apply to 7 card stud poker as well. One skill that is much more important in 7 card stud poker than in other forms of poker is short-term memory.
You must be able to remember what cards your opponents who folded had shown in order to determine your correct odds as well as the possibilities of what your remaining opponents may be holding.
7 card stud poker is played mostly for high only, but is also occasionally available in high/low split. Both are played using the following rules.
Up to eight players may play in a 7-card stud poker game. Each player places an ante and then receives two down cards and one face-up card. The lowest face-up card is required to start the betting action with a bet called the bring-in.
The player with the lowest card showing may bet either half the lower betting limit or place a full bet (called completing the bet) or raise, with play continuing to the left. If the bring-in is only half a bet, another player may complete the bet or raise (complete the bet and raise).
After all betting is completed; a fourth card is dealt face up to each player. From this point on, the highest hand showing starts the action each round. Each player, in turn, may check or bet if there has been no action or call or raise when facing a previous bet.
On this round, if the high hand is a pair, this player may check, bet the lower limit or the higher limit. There is no bring-in requirement after the first betting round. A fifth card is dealt face up followed by a betting round and a sixth card is dealt face up followed by another round of betting.
The seventh card is dealt to each player face down and the final round of betting starts. Each round is often called a street (the third card is called third street, the fourth card is called fourth street and so on through seventh street).
The betting on the third and fourth street is the lower limit and on fifth, sixth and seventh street it is the higher limit. Each player uses his or her best five cards to form a hand.
If playing high/low split, each player uses five cards to form their best high hand and five cards to form their best low hand. These do not have to be the same five cards.
In 7 card stud poker high/low split, there is often an 8 qualifier. This means that to have a hand that qualifies for low, you must have five non-paired cards eight or below.
One thing that often confuses players is how to correctly determine which hand is the lowest. The easiest way to do this is to read the hands backwards like a number.
For example, 8 5 3 2 A would be read 85,321. The lower the number, the lower the hand. Here are a few examples in order from lowest to highest to help you understand how this works.
Card counting in baccarat
Contrary to popular belief, there are effective ways to count cards in baccarat, though it’s different than card counting in other games.
Counting cards is a method used in a number of gambling games used to make an approximation about the nature of the cards left in the deck or shoe.
While card counting is a technique most well known for being used in the game of blackjack (see how to count cards in blackjack), there are three main ways that the technique can be used in baccarat. We’re going to break down how all three of these systems for card counting work in this game and how you can apply all three to playing in online casinos with live dealers or in land-based games.

The basic counting system
One advantage of card counting in baccarat, compared to counting cards in a game like blackjack, is that there aren’t really multiple systems to contend with and choose from. Instead, there’s really only one method that’s mathematically proven for counting cards in this game. Once you learn it, you’ve learned everything there is to learn about the basic counting system.
In line with the fundamental theorem of baccarat strategy, you’ll use this system by letting it tell you when you should go with the player bet instead of the banker bet. The idea is that you’ll stick with the banker bet normally, but this system will give you an indicator of when the player bet will give you a better payout rate.
Like any other system, card counting by itself will not make you profitable against the casino, but it will help to minimize your house advantage and maximize your chances of coming out on top in your session.
How to use the basic counting system
The following will briefly summarize how to use this system for counting cards to determine when the player bet is better than the banker bet. This is based on a game with six or eight decks, but you can make an adjustment to make it work for single-deck games, which we’ll address in this summary.
- When you start with a fresh shoe of cards (or deck of cards), then you’ll mentally begin with the number zero.
- When each card is dealt on the table, you’ll adjust your count accordingly based on the chart of values that we’ll list below.
- The number you’re keeping running in your head is the count, but you’ll need to convert that to the true count by dividing by the approximate number of decks left in the shoe. For example, if there are 4 decks left with a count of 20, then the true count is 20 / 4, which is 5.
- If the true count is higher than 15 in a game with six or more decks, then that’s when you should switch from the banker bet to the player bet.
- In a single-deck game, you’ll change to the player bet when the count is higher than 11 instead.
- When there’s a new deck or shoe brought to the game, you start back over with a count of zero.
Conceptually, this is all you need to know to make this counting system work. However, you also need to know the actual values of the cards for this system, and you’ll need to memorize the following chart along those lines:
Card rank | A, 2, 3 | 4 | 5, 7, 8 | 6 | 9, T, J, Q, K |
count value | +1 | +2 | -1 | -2 | 0 |
So if the count is 10 and a 4 is dealt, then you’ll add 2 for a new count of 12. If a king is then dealt, the count doesn’t change because a king doesn’t affect the count. This can take some practice to learn, but it’s a good way to drop the house edge a bit.

Introducing EZ baccarat
There’s a variation of baccarat called EZ baccarat that you’ll often see in live dealer casinos, whether online or in land-based facilities. The game has been changed around slightly so that there is no commission on the banker wager, and it pays 1:1 just like the player bet. To compensate for this change in the rules, players who bet on the banker and win with three cards that add up to a score of seven points will push instead of winning.
Players should stick with a basic strategy of playing the banker bet in this style of the game since it has a house advantage of 1.02 percent, which is better than the player wager in most cases.
However, what’s particularly important about this game is that it can have one (or both) of two side bets called the dragon 7 and panda 8. While most side bets in casino games are serious losing propositions, there’s an exception here because there are methods to count cards for each of these bets and discover when they are profitable for the player to wager on.
Both of the following counting systems are mathematically proven to be able to get an advantage against the house. However, not all live dealer casinos carry EZ baccarat games where these wagers are used, so you might have to look around a bit to find a game to target with these systems.
Card counting for the dragon 7
The dragon 7 is a side bet that pays 40:1 if the banker hand wins with three cards and a total score of seven. Typically, it has an average house advantage of about 7.6 percent, so we’re not always going to take the bet. Instead, we’ll just use this card counting approach to make the bet when we know it’s profitable.
Since all EZ baccarat games use shoes of eight decks, it really simplifies card counting since you don’t have to learn multiple points or even really do anything special outside of learning the card values. On top of that, learning the card values is significantly easier for card counting the dragon 7 than it is for the basic counting system that we described above. Consider the following values:
Card rank | A, 2, 3 | 4, 5, 6, 7 | 8, 9 | T, J, Q, K |
count value | 0 | -1 | +2 | 0 |
To give you some statistics, you’ll end up with a house edge of a little over 8 percent on average each time you make this bet with a true count of 4 or higher. This will happen in just under 10 percent of all hands.
Dragon 7 card counting cheat sheet
Card counting for the panda 8
The panda 8 works similarly to the dragon 7 in terms of how the side bet actually works. If the player hand wins in this game with a total of eight made of three cards, then the panda 8 side bet pays at a rate of 25:1. The house edge on this wager is typically about 10.2 percent, which is pretty huge. However, much like the system proposed above, we’re only going to make the bet when we know it will give us a net profit, on average, to do so.
Counting this bet, however, is significantly more difficult than counting for the dragon 7 or even the basic count that we described earlier. Consider the values for this system:
Card rank | A, 2 | 3, 4, 5 | 6, 7 | 8 | 9 | T, J, Q, K |
count value | +1 | -2 | -1 | -2 | +4 | +1 |
As you can see, there’s a lot more to learn, and it’s much easier to make a significant counting mistake with this system. Nonetheless, when you have a true count of more than 10, then you’ll have an advantage against the house. Counting the panda 8 is only about 40 percent as profitable as counting the dragon 7 in terms of your actual hourly trying to exploit the game, so if you have to choose between one and the other, you should go with the dragon 7 instead.

Training to count cards
If you’re the type of player who is serious about getting in on the action with this game and learning these counting systems, then you’re going to have to put in a considerable amount of time practicing. That’s simply the nature of counting cards in any casino game, and if you want the results, you have to put in the work.
With that having been said, we have a suggested method here that you can use to speed up your training significantly compared to just trying to learn to do it by playing through baccarat hands. Get yourself a normal, 52-card deck and practice with this approach, and you’ll be well on your way to being able to count cards effortlessly in real time at the tables within a few weeks.
- Start with a count of zero, and deal one card at a time from the deck while mentally keeping up with the count as you go. Start off by going as slow as you need to.
- With this method, you should end up with a count of zero when you finish the deck. If you don’t have a count of zero when you finish, then you made a mistake somewhere.
- Continue repeating this exercise until you’re able to do it very quickly.
- Repeat the above exercise while dealing two cards at a time until you’re able to do it super quickly.
- Make sure to keep up with the count mentally and without having to say it aloud. You don’t want to train yourself to have to speak the count, especially if you plan on playing in a land-based game at some point.
- When you can reliably and accurately count down a deck one card at a time within 60 seconds and two cards at a time in 90 seconds, then you’re prepared to use what you’ve learned in real games.
Something that’s great about this method is that it’s like riding a bicycle. Once you really learn to count through this approach, it will be something you can come back to and pick up where you’d left off, even if it’s been months or years since you played baccarat last.
Overview
There are a few different possibilities for learning to count cards in baccarat. While the basic system is good for all games, the systems for the dragon 7 and panda 8 require you to find the EZ baccarat variation, which you’ll only find online in live casinos. It’s not the most common game in the world, but you’ll be able to find it if you look. Make sure that you put the time in practicing before you try to use these systems at the tables, and you’ll be well on your way to maximizing your chances of winning at this game.

Top 10 casino games
Everyone loves to have a gamble from time to time (myself included). Unfortunately we don’t always win, but the real fun is in the playing, not the winning. Here is a list of the top 10 casino games.
Bingo is a game in which players try to match randomly selected numbers to the numbers on their card. The card consists of a 5×5 matrix where each column is represented by the letters B-I-N-G-O. The middle square is typically a free square. The first person to form a specific pattern (usually a straight line) calls out “bingo!”. The card gets checked for accuracy and the winner is announced. Then a new round begins.

In baccarat each player has three options: player, tie, and banker. When all players have placed their bets, the dealer deals out two 2-card hands, one is the banker hand while the other is the player hand. The hands are added up. If a hand totals over ten, the ten is dropped (I.E. 9+5=14=4). A hand equaled to 10 becomes a 0 or baccarat. The winning hand would be the higher of the 2 and anyone who placed a corresponding bet wins.
8. Wheel of fortune (the big six)
This game is played by placing your bet on one of 6 symbols on the game table. Then the wheel is spun. The wheel is divided into 52 equal sections that are separated by pins around the edge. When the wheel comes to a stop, the pointer will be between two pins. All bets placed on the symbol the wheel stops on, win.
Keno is a lottery game. The player get a card numbered 1 to 80. The player then picks up to 20 numbers and a wager. The card is then registered and the game begins. The caller announces 20 randomly drawn numbers. The player tries to match as many called numbers to their selected numbers. The more numbers matched the higher the winnings paid against their wager.
Pai gow poker is played against the house instead of the other players. The dealer deals out 7 cards to each player and himself in rotation. Everyone then looks at their cards and tries to make the best 5-card and 2-card poker hands. The 5-card hand must rank higher than the 2-card hand. The hands are then compared against the dealers. If both hands beat the dealer, the player wins. If both lose, the player loses. If both the dealer and the player win on a hand, it is a push.

In roulette, the player places his chips on the table where they would like to wager. The table consists of number 0-36 and 00 and then has additional betting for even-odd, red-black, low 18-high 18, low/middle/high 12, and for the first/second/third columns. A player may also place their bet between 2, 3, 4, or 5 numbers and may cross bet between the additional betting area. The dealer will signal no more bets. The dealer will spin the wheel in a clockwise direction then roll a ball in a counter-clockwise direction. The ball lands in a numbered slot on the wheel. All bets that correspond with the number win.
Slots are machines that play a number of different games. They are very popular. In general the player will insert coins into the machine and either pull a handle or press a button. This causes the wheels to spin. In older styled slot machines there were 3 wheels. In the newer machines they tend to have 3 to 5 simulated wheels. When the wheels stop, the player is paid based on the pattern of symbols.
Blackjack is a card game played between the house and the player. The dealer deals out two cards to each player and their self. The dealer has one card face up and one down. The players then take turns trying to get as close to 21 without going over. Aces are equal to 1 or 11. Face cards are 10 and number cards are face value. The player calls hit to get a card, and stand to end their turn. A player may also call double to double their bet and may only receive one card and the turn ends. If a player has two identically numbered cards, they may split. This requires them to double their bet and then get two more cards making two new hands that they may play. After all players turns are over, the dealer reveals their card. The dealer then hits if the total is 16 or less and stands on 17 and higher. Everyone who has a hand that beats the dealer without going over 21 wins.
Craps is a high energy dice game based on 7. The player places bets around the table. There are many places to bet. The pass line is the main focus of the game. 7 and 11 win on this line while 2, 3 and 12 lose. All other numbers rolled make an established point. If that number is rolled again before a 7 is rolled, the bet wins. The don’t pass line is just the opposite, 2 and 3 win where 7 and 11 loses. The field line wins on 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, and 12. 2 and 12 pay double. The come line is playable after a point is established. It plays the same as the pass line. The don’t come plays like don’t pass after the point is established. Then you also can make bets on the horn. These bets are on getting 2, 3, 11, or 12 on the next roll. Other bets include big 6/8, C&E, any seven, and craps.
Poker is a card game base on a 5 card hand. The ranking of hands from lowest to highest are high card, pair, two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush, and royal flush. The player with the best hand wins. There are many versions of poker such as 5-card draw, 5-card stud, texas hold’em, omaha hold’em, razz, pineapple, and 7-card stud.
7 asian casino games worth trying (if you get a chance)
Casinos and gambling are a huge part of asian culture and have been for centuries. In fact, vegas is no longer considered the gambling capital of the world. That title has been taken over by the tiny nation of macau, which is off the coast of china.
You’ll notice many good luck charms in chinese restaurants or even just spending some time watching other asian television programming. That’s because luck, chance, and fortune are tied into the culture.
The casinos in macau cater largely to asians, so paying attention to which games are available there can be helpful if you want to know which asian casino games are worth trying.
In this post, I list some of the most popular asian casino games along with notes about how to excel at each of them.
1 – sic bo
One of the first games I ever played in a casino was called sic bo, which is played with three 6-sided dice.
I was familiar with the probabilities when rolling three dice because I played dungeons and dragons as a teenager.
Besides baccarat, sic bo is probably the most popular game in any asian casino. It’s also popular in atlantic city, which has a devoted asian clientele.
Many las vegas casinos no longer offer sic bo, although many of them might have a single table available.
The game of sic bo reminds me a little bit of roulette, because you have a table full of betting options. The payoffs for all the bets are always at a rate lower than the odds of winning.
Unlike roulette, though, sic bo doesn’t offer a host of bets that all have the same house edge. The casino’s edge varies based on which bet you take in sic bo. The best thing to do, mathematically, is to always take the bet with the lowest house edge.
Betting on small (or betting on big) is your best bet. The house edge is 2.78% for either of those bets. A bet on small wins if the total of the three dice is less than 11, but you lose if there’s a 3. A bet on big wins if the total of the three dice is more than 10, but you lose if it’s a total of 18. In fact, on either of these bets, if you get three of a kind, you lose.
Most of the other bets at sic bo have a house edge greater than 10%. Those bets just aren’t worth making, although you’ll see people placing those bets all the time.
2 – baccarat
Baccarat isn’t specifically an asian game, but it’s the most popular game in macau. In american casinos, slot machines dominate the gambling floor. In asian casinos, baccarat tables do.
Baccarat seems complex, but that’s mostly because the rules are complicated. There’s no strategy to winning at baccarat, and the odds are almost as good as betting on a coin toss with your buddy, which is close to a 50/50 proposition.
Always bet on the banker, as that’s the bet with the lowest house edge (1.06%). You CAN bet on the player, but you face a slightly higher house edge (1.24%).
But never, under any circumstances, bet on a tie. The house edge for that bet is 14.36%.
Those percentages vary slightly based on how many decks and which other rules conditions are in effect at your table, but they’re not too far afield at all.
3 – fan tan
Fan tan uses a cup and a wand along with a stack of white buttons to play. You play on a large table, and the middle of that table is covered with a plastic dome. The edges of the table are where the players make their bets.
The game begins when the dealer puts the cup over a random number of buttons. You can then choose from any of the bets on the table. After that, the dealer uses the wand to count how many buttons he had in the cup.
These buttons are counted off in groups of four, and the outcome is determined by the last set of buttons, which always consists of one, two, three, or four buttons.
The payout odds for all of the bets are the same as the odds of winning, but the casino takes a 5% commission. This makes the house edge in fan tan 5%, regardless of which bet you place.
4 – pachinko
Pachinko reminds me of a pinball machine, only instead of being oriented horizontally, it’s oriented vertically. It’s basically the japanese answer to slot machines.
In fact, instead of casinos, japan has pachinko parlors, some of which also offer slot machine games.
It’s illegal to bet real money in japan, so pachinko is played for balls, which are later exchanged for money or other prizes.
For an end run around legal gambling, the pachinko market is huge. Revenue from pachinko parlors is more than that of gambling in las vegas, macau, and singapore.
5 – pai gow (and pai gow poker)
Pai gow is basically an asian version of dominoes. The tiles are put into stacks of four. There are eight of these. Then, players make bets.
When the bets are all placed, players each get a stack of tiles and have to use those four tiles to create two hands of two tiles each. One of these is the “front hand,” and the other is the “rear hand.”
If one hand wins, and the other hand loses, it’s treated as a push. A push is what happens in casino gambling when there’s a tie. The player doesn’t lose his bet, but he doesn’t get any winnings either.
Pai gow poker is an americanized version of pai gow that’s played with playing cards instead of tiles. Both land based and online pai gow poker use poker hand rankings, but the gameplay is similar.
Pai gow poker is a great casino poker game to play, by the way, because it’s relatively slow and results in a push a lot of the time. This results in a lower than usual hourly loss rate when compared with other casino table games.
6 – niu niu
You won’t see niu niu in many (or any) american casinos, but visit some of the gambling halls in southeast asia, and it’s ubiquitous. You can also find versions online in casinos catering to asian gamblers.
Niu niu is a card game where the playing cards have the same values they would have in baccarat:
Any time the total becomes 10 or greater, the number is converted to a single digit. A total of 11 becomes a one, a total of 13 becomes a three, etc. The 10 is just dropped.
You can bet on either or both of the following:
Each player gets five cards, and so does the dealer. The cards get sorted into whichever hand would be best. Here are the possible hands, from best to worst.
If there’s a tie, you compare the highest ranked card in each hand to determine the winner. Aces always count low for this purpose.
If there’s still a tie, the suit of the highest ranked card breaks the tie. See the suits from high to low.
If you placed an “equal” bet, you win even money if you chose the winning side. But you have to pay a 5% commission.
If you placed a “double” bet, you win a prize based on a pay table, but you still pay a 5% commission.
7 – yee hah hi
If you ever wanted to play sic bo but without all the counting, you could try yee hah hi. The game is a variation of sic bo. But instead of numbered pips on the dice, each side has a picture on it.
Yee hah hi dice have six different symbols in three different colors.
The symbols come in the following colors.
You can bet on things like “all are the same color” or “two of the dice are the same color.” the house edge for this game is actually surprisingly good at just 1.11%.
Conclusion
That’s my list of seven asian gambling games worth trying. But it’s not even close to a comprehensive list. You probably have some favorite casino games that are also popular in asia.

Best online casino game - poker, seven card stud
The best online casino game to play are the one with the lowest house edge or one where the player has an average advantage. Some bets are better than others.
As far as I searched, one of the very best and high ranking online casino game is poker, whether it is draw, stud, hold'em, razz, pineapple, etc. Those are the different versions of the poker.
Anyway, poker is a family of card game. It shares betting rules and usually hand rankings. The hand ranking from lowest to highest are high card, pair, two pair, three of a kind, straight, straight flush, flush, full house, four of a kind, and royal flush. The player with the best hands wins.
Each version of poker has different rules in playing. One that I will say the most relevant example is stud, it is regarded as a more pure poker variation, as much for its historic past and difficulty in playing. This is not to say that stud is better than any other online casino game, but it is a game worth knowing how to play. Most people like the texas hold'em, since then many people have watched the texas hold'em tournament.
I will assume that you are familiar with poker as with stud as the description below sited.
Stud requires more attention and card-playing prowess. Stud can be played with two to eight players. The goal of it is the same as any poker variation - win as many chips as you can, one pot at a time.
Stud can be broken up into four sections. The setup, which the player should need to get everyone at your table chips, combine the chips that will allow for a big bet, small bet and an ante. The size of the bet will dictate how large the game will play. The bring, which the player with the lowest-value door card is the one that required to "bring it in". The player required to bring has two option. He/she can either bring by making a bet equal to the size of the ante, and he/she can complete the bet to the full amount of all the small bet. Aces are high for the bring, which means they rank higher than a king. The betting rounds, which the player to the left of the bring is next to act. Players has three options, either to fold, to call, and to raise. The showdown, which when the final round has been completed, the players still in the hand enter into. Each player makes the best five card hand possible out of their own seven cards. The remaining two cards are "dead" and have no value towards hand at all.
Every players of each poker versions should have the ability to play multiple variations of the game. Not just for stud, nor hold'em, etc.
Everyone loves to have gamble games from time to time. Unfortunately, do not always win, other said, losing is a part of a game, but the real fun is in playing, not the wining. The important is you enjoy the play, and you enjoy the poker.
