Unfortunately, there is no guaranteed way to immediately host casino missions in GTA online, and despite various players reporting that entering through an invite only session or holding down certain buttons while initiating a mission worked for them, this can only be down to coincidence as many more players have found the same methods did not help them. Aptly for the casino update you're going to need a bit of luck to find success here, as this is how to host casino missions in GTA online:

Approach the mission marker in the casino

Press right on the d-pad (console) or E on PC to play the mission

Wait for the lobby to load and see if you are marked as the host

If not, press the quit prompt and confirm to return to the casino

Repeat these steps until you are assigned as the host

As host, you can then choose your settings and confirm

Matchmaking will then start, and you can send invites to speed it up

This is all trial and error, so there's no guarantee of how long it will take before you can host casino missions in GTA online, but at least the process is fairly quick and easily repeatable until you successfully become the host.

That’s where the GTA online casino missions come in: this gambling mecca is under threat from a devious texan outfit that would like nothing more than see the entire enterprise go up in smoke, and it’s up to you to stop them.

But not before you’ve had a go on the roulette tables, of course. The GTA casino update sees not just special GTA 5 casino missions hit the game, but also gambling games and some of the hottest – and vertigo-inducing – real estate in los santos. But, if you want to get the diamond resort’s narrative, you’ll have to pay the hefty GTA casino price to get VIP membership, first.

That special status in the gambling house gives you access to the full GTA casino missions list and a chance at unlocking the enus paragon R armoured vehicle in GTA online. Then, if you keep spending the cash on VIP membership, you’ll be able to store it with your many other GTA casino cars in an exclusive garage. But, before that, we’re going to show you what missions you can tackle, how to host them, and where to pick up your new set of wheels.

How to start GTA casino missions

Now that you’ve paid your way to become very important – to the casino’s finances – you can buy the master penthouse, if you didn’t get it for free by linking your rockstar social club account to your twitch prime one.

Then, after watching the relevant cutscene, wait for around ten minutes for a phone call from casino owner agatha baker inviting you to start the first mission. Some players think this wait means that the GTA casino missions not working, but you need only be patient and have a look around the resort to kill some time.

The conclusion of your phone call should trigger your first mission map marker ‘AB’ for loose cheng. There are six GTA casino missions in total to complete from here before you can get the GTA online enus paragon R (armoured). You can complete them on any difficulty, but you will need to be the host for each of them. Here they are:

How to host GTA casino missions

To be the leader and host GTA online casino missions you need to start the game as an invite-only session. Then when you launch missions, you should be the host. If you find yourself in a pre-mission screen you may be joining another host’s game, so quit out and restart if you’re really determined to get the armored enus paragon R.

Equally, if you just want to get on with the missions and are not bothered with the car right now, you can just play through the missions and then replay them as the host by selecting them from the rockstar jobs menu. There’ll be plenty out there who are set on playing as the host, especially at the beginning, so a spot of patience could serve you well.

How to get the armored enus paragon R car

You’ll know when you’ve successfully completed all casino missions in GTA 5 as leader because the ‘full house’ award will pop, and you’ll be given $100,000 more to transform into chips at the casino. But you’re not here for that: baker also texts you to say that a special car has been dropped off for you at the docks.

The GTA enus paragon R armoured location can be found at the docks to the southeast. You should see a question mark icon appear on your map. An as-yet-unliveried, black version of the car can be found surrounded by some large cranes, ready for you to drive away.

Damage control

To start the damage control secret mission you’re going to need to get drunk. Head to the main casino bar or the bar in the penthouse suite if you have it. Order a macbeth whisky shot, and you’ll blackout. If you’re lucky you’ll wake up on the side of the road and the casino owner, ms baker, will ring you up to lambast you for your drunken antics. If that happens, the damage control secret mission will start. If not, you’ll need to keep drinking to get this secret GTA casino mission. The mission itself is straightforward, simply take the truck you stole back to the casino before time runs out.

Under the influence

Coincidentally, this one also involves getting drunk. This time, though, you can drink at any bar, but you don’t want to blackout. Once your tipsy, give the casino owner a ring and hit the request work option. This one also has an element of luck – it is tied to the casino after all – but if you win out, you’ll trigger the secret GTA casino mission. To complete it, all you need to do is take a vehicle to a client. The catch is that the vehicle is on the police’s wanted list, so expect some resistance.

Gaining access to the GTA online casino

Like most dlcs since further adventures in finance and felony, to actually access the new content you'll need to make an initial investment of sorts. Previously, this involved buying specific properties like offices or bunkers, but you can't buy the diamond this time around, no matter how many shark cards you've splurged on. Instead, players must buy memberships which give them access to the gambling opportunities at the casino.

Standard diamond memberships don't cost too much, but they also come with limited perks - you can only access the casino portion of the diamond and even then, not all gambling activities. You will gain access to the diamond's garage though, allowing you to store one car.

Instead, to access the resort, the high-limit tables and more, you'll need a VIP membership, which is significantly more expensive.

This membership nets you a fancy penthouse which you can customize to your heart's desire, including with a personal spa, partying area, roof garden access, exquisite artworks and more. You'll also have the opportunity to try your luck as a real high-roller at the high-limit tables in the casino, and insert coins again and again at the retro arcade.

The main attraction of getting a VIP membership, however, is gaining access to missions.

Missions

Two kinds of missions will become available to you once you have a VIP membership. Co-op missions follow a loose storyline involving a hostile texan oil magnate trying to encroach upon tao cheng's business. Cheng, the owner of the diamond, looks to his illustrious and infamous clientele to protect his business interests.

There are a total of six co-op missions, all of which pay out extra rewards the first time you complete them. The standard payout for completing a mission is GTA$ 11,000 - 15,000 depending on the time it takes, however you get an additional GTA$ 50,000 the first time you finish each one, which doubles up to GTA$ 100,000 on the last one.

The order of the co-op missions is as follows:

If you host the co-op lobby and manage to complete all six missions in order, in one sitting, you'll get an exclusive "hidden" vehicle. The enus armored paragon car is spawned at the docks if you are eligible, and cannot be acquired in any other way.

There is another bonus payout of GTA$ 500,000 if you manage to play through the six missions in order the first time you play them. If you play the missions but don't finish them in order, you won't have another chance to try for this bonus,В ever. This adds on top of the other first-time completion bonuses, and the bonus GTA$ 50,000 gained from every mission completed without a death.

Note that co-op missions cannot be played solo. There is also no way to ensure that you are the host of the given session - it's a gamble!

In addition, to be able to progress within the co-op missions, the host must elect to do so. So unless you are hosting yourself, or get lucky with a competent host, you might be stuck repeating the same mission. Currently, there is no easy workaround for this.

You can keep retrying when joining missions to see if you get lucky by being the host. Keep in mind that to get the host bonuses, you need to play through all six missions as host. If you've been playing through them but only host the last one, for example, you don't get the enus armored paragon.

The other kind of missions are casino work missions, accessible by calling agatha baker. These are less lucrative than the co-op missions and lack the overarching storyline, but can be completed quicker and alone.

Services

Once you become a member of the diamond by purchasing a penthouse, you can call agatha baker for one of three things. These services are entirely free of charge. These are not available if you have a wanted level.

Car service

You can call ms. Baker to request a vehicle to be spawned. The options are limited, with the cognoscenti cabrio, the windsor, the fugitive, the super diamond, the dubsta, and the feltzer - the fastest among the choices - being available. You don't need to own any of these vehicles to be able to order one.

The spawned car cannot be placed into a garage or insured and the game does not consider them personal or pegasus vehicles giving them a new marker. The cars aren't stock, but carry certain upgrades such as bulletproof tires and performance upgrades.

Note that the cars are set to public access, so any other player can enter and steal the car if you're not careful. The vehicle will spawn right next to your character when called. If you enter a building interior the ordered car will automatically despawn. There is a 2-minute cooldown for using this service starting after the vehicle is spawned.

Limousine service

The limo service works in a very similar manner as the taxi service, but as mentioned previously, is free for penthouse owners. When called, the limo will spawn right beside the player and can be either white or black. When you sit in, the limo will automatically drive towards the diamond, but you can also set a waypoint and it will drive you there.

The limo driver will not be intimidated by attacks or weapon use and will only exit the limo if it flips over. This feature makes the limo a perfect getaway vehicle if you need to escape from cops, enemies or other players. You can kill the driver and take the car, but it cannot be stored or tracked, and doing so will yield a wanted level.

You can give the driver various instructions, such as to speed up, slow down, or to stop entirely.

Casino work

You can also request additional missions from agatha baker, as mentioned above in the missions section. These missions can be completed alone and take anywhere between 2 to 15 minutes to complete depending on which variant you get. You cannot choose the mission type, as that is randomly assigned.

The reward for successfully completing a mission is 5,000 chips and GTA$ 5,000-10,000 depending on time taken. There are at least 14 confirmed mission variants. These jobs have a hidden 3 minute cooldown and the locations are randomized. Completing 50 casino work missions will grant you a bonus of GTA$ 180,000.

Safe bet - escort a security van to the diamond from a random point on the map while defending it from waves of enemy attackers driving kurumas and bikes.

Bargaining chips - search through 5 zones each with a suspect for a thief who stole chips from the diamond. The thief NPC cannot be locked on, but does not escape due to weapons fire. The thief can be killed, which will give you a wanted level, or pressured into returning the chips. This can be the longest mission depending on how many areas you need to search before finding the thief, so it may not be worth doing.

When the chips are down - go to the mission area, clear out hostiles, use the provided sticky bombs to destroy supplies.

Undisclosed cargo - take a corpse in the trunk of the provided car to a drop-off point. The route will be watched by unmarked police vehicles that will cause a mission failure if you attract attention.

Recovery time - retrieve a vehicle from an impound lot by stealthly stealing the key, then driving the vehicle back to the diamond. Even if you are not detected, taking the vehicle out of the lot will give you an automatic wanted level.

Department of defense - protect the diamond from attacking thugs, then tail their van to the gang leader. Make sure to stay far away from the van since the line of sight goes through buildings and the detection range is large.

Lost in transit - track a stolen van by listening for gunshots, kill the hostiles, retrieve the van and drive it back to the diamond while fending off waves of two attacking kurumas.

Severance - go to the mission area, then chase down and kill the chip thief on a bike before he reaches LSIA. The bike cannot be locked on to, and the thief cannot be knocked off the bike. When you retrieve the stolen chips you get an automatic wanted level, which you need to lose, then return the money to the diamond.

Best laid plans - prevent a heist in the diamond. First you need to take out one of the heist crew members, steal his keycard, reach the mission area and kill the other heist members. Access the laptop, then travel to the marked locations to finish off the remaining enemies.

Judgement call - intimidate a judge with a warning shot or by beating him up with a bat. You are given a suppressed pistol and a baseball bat for this mission. You need to approach the mission area and kill the guards stealthily - detection causes mission failure. You need to intimidate the judge several times and he will attempt to flee in a vehicle. This can be avoided to finish the mission quickly, but if he reaches the vehicle, you will need to chase him while being attacked by waves of two kurumas. You need to cripple the wheels of the judge's getaway car and then intimidate him. Killing the judge causes mission failure.

High rollin' - drive a limo with a VIP to the diamond. Driving faster than 40 MPH will decrease the GTA$ reward of the mission.

Fake newsв - locate a news rump van in one of five marked locations. Once you find the van, tail it to the next location where a reported will get out. Knock out or kill the reporter, retrieve their wallet and leave the mission area.

One armed banditв - go to the docks and identify the objective container based on a code, which is being guarded by opponents. Deliver the container to the diamond using the skylift.

Damage controlв - drive a mule back to the diamond within the allotted time. Triggers randomly when the player blacks out from macbeth shots at the casino bar.

Gambling

Gambling options in the GTA online casino may not be available in your region. Certain regions will display a "this feature is not available for you" message when attempting to play a gambling mini-game. Some regions still allow the purchase of chips, so make sure to try using the complimentary chips first! Check our list of restricted countries below.

Of course, chances are you'll be spending most of your time in the diamond at the tables. Gambling options are somewhat limited and you can only play against the house. The games are heavily abstracted to fit into the mini-game structure, so knowledge of the actual rules of blackjack or poker isn't necessary - the game contains a rundown of its own rules.

You'll be able to win additional chips, GTA$, and items at the tables and slots, but you'll also be losing a lot along the way, so make sure to gamble responsibly - especially if you're the kind of player that spends on shark cards.

The full selection of gambling options include blackjack, three card poker, roulette, slots, lucky wheel and inside track.

Gambling mini-games are played withв chips and there are no opportunities to play against other players. Chips can be bought with GTA$, and they can also be cashed out as GTA$ when you're finished.

A standard diamond membership, required to access the casino, will grant you 5,000 chips as a welcoming gift, and all players can claim 1,000 bonus chips daily.

The conversion rate is 1 chip = 1 GTA$.

You can purchase a maximum of 50,000 chips every in-game day, which equates to 48 minutes in real-time. It is possible to circumvent this timer by purchasing the maximum number of chips, disconnecting your internet, reconnecting, and logging back into GTA online. Your timer will be reset.

Blackjack

The version of blackjack used in GTA online has a few slight quirks. The dealer uses 4 decks with 80 face cards, and the decks are shuffled after each hand.

Counting cards seems to be a viable strategy in blackjack, and can help you increase your win rate. Even using a basic strategy chart will help you get a bit of an edge, though the game is still weighed in the house's favor. Something that many players have noted and documented is that the house "cheats" in so far as the dealer will often have access to more 21 cards than should be possible, and pulls them up at the worst possible moments.

Nonetheless, a basic chart like this one, from blackjack apprenticeship, should help you out at the tables.

Three card poker

Three card poker is a simpler game, but the odds are also more in favor of the house. You need to get a 2 pair which consist of two 2 cards, a 3 pair consisting of three 3s, a straight which is a hand of a 5, a 6 and a 7, or a flush which is a 8, a 9 and a 10 of the same suit. The flush is the strongest hand.

The basic strategy here is quite simple, but as a result of the odds and simplicity of the strategy, its efficacy is also somewhat limited. Simply put, you shouldn't make pair plus bets in order to maximize your profits.

Statistically, an easy rule of thumb to follow is that you should fold hands that are weaker than a queen, a 6 and a 4, and call with a hand that is equal to or stronger than that hand.

Roulette

There's a lot less strategy involved in roulette than in the card games, if you can call these tips 'strategy at all'. This is one of those games where hunches or personal superstitions come into play. Some people always put on red, some always on black.

If there can be any actual tips for increasing your winnings, it would be to pay attention to how the results tally out and try to make an educated guess on what the next result will be.

Slots, inside track

We lumped these two together for a simple reason - there is absolutely no strategy involved, and it comes down to pure luck. Go with your gut, and bet low.

Lucky wheel

Spinning the lucky wheel is an easy way to win if you are using a controller (including a PC controller). It works by rotating the left analog stick. The speed at which the wheel turns is directly proportional to how quickly you twist the stick, so with a bit of practice, you can win exactly what you want from the wheel. You can spin the lucky wheel once every real-time day.

It is possible to reset the timer by immediately disconnecting your internet after you spun the wheel. Note that this will allow you to spin again, but you won't retain your reward if done correct, because the whole point of the method is to prevent the servers from saving.

Lucky wheel prizes include large sums of chips, a "mystery" reward which is undefined and even a free high-end vehicle, which rotates - both literally on a circular podium in the diamond lobby, and figuratively, with a different vehicle being on offer each week.

Currently, the gross total for all artwork available in the casino store adds up to 3,926,050 chips. If the only way you acquire chips is by buying the hourly maximum (50,000), that means over 64 hours until you can buy them all - so you better start winning big!

Penthouse

If you've bought a VIP membership you'll have a personal master penthouse waiting for you at the top of the diamond for any time you visit. The penthouse acts as a property and spawn point and can be customized extensively. Pick your preferred dг©cor and style, and pimp out your pad with a selection of fine art straight from the casino store.

You can add modules to your penthouse as well, such as the personal spa with a stylist - this allows for character customization - or a partying area - this adds interactive objects to your penthouse which can be used to fool around with when you invite other players up. A fully upgraded penthouse decked out with everything will cost a total of GTA$ 6,533,500.

There are three pre-built penthouse variations and a fourth that allows you to customize the penthouse to your own liking.

Cash pad: GTA$ 1.5million

Party penthouse: GTA$ 3.78million

High roller: GTA$ 6.5million (this variant is not available in regions where the gambling features aren't either)

"design your own": GTA$ 1.5million

Color options: GTA$215,000 or GTA$ 258,500

Pattern options: GTA$92,000 - GTA$ 210,000

There are several differences between the variations based on what modules they are supplied with. We strongly suggest buying theв design your own penthouse, but we'll give you a rundown on the other options as well.

The cash pad is the "basic" penthouse which contains no additional modules at all. The cash pad also doesn't allow for later expansion via modules, unless you "renovate" it to become the design your own variant. That means no garage, no spa, no party hub or any other module. You can, however, purchase artworks to decorate the penthouse with and can access customization options.

The party penthouse comes with the stock penthouse area, as well as the lounge, party hub, spa and extra bedroom. You cannot add other modules or remove these from your penthouse.

The high roller penthouse contains all of the available modules but is locked to the most expensive pattern and color options with no way to change them. If you're just going to buy every module and the most expensive options, this is an easy one-click way to do so. It's important to note that this module is not available in regions where the gambling features aren't either.

The design your own penthouse is the same as the cash pad in so far as it contains no modules. It does, however, give you the opportunity to purchase modules one by one, letting you customize what functionality your penthouse possesses. We don't really know why the cash pad even exists, since the two cost the same amount and the cash pad doesn't let you customize it later on, but there you have it.

If you bought the design your own penthouse - as you should - you can purchase these modules individually.

Lounge area: $GTA 400,000В - prerequisite for all other modules except garage and extra bedroom, which can be bought without it

Private dealer: $GTA 1.1million - allows you to play casino mini-games in your penthouse, switch between blackjack and poker using the interaction menu

Office: $GTA 200,000 - includes a gun locker and computer. Note that you cannot manage your businesses from this office

Extra bedroom: $GTA 200,000 - aesthetic, allows other player characters to sleep

Garage: $GTA 800,000 - 10 slots

Spa: $600,000 - aesthetic.

Playing cards

A new set of hidden collectibles were added to GTA online with this update. 54 vintage playing cards have been scattered across the game map in hard to find locations. Finding the cards will earn youв RPВ andв chips to be used at the casino.

Finding all 54 will unlock an exclusiveв high roller outfit and a special set of playing cards to be used by your dealer at the diamond. You can also put the rare vintage cards on display in your penthouse as a trophy celebrating your achievement!

These playing cards also reward you with chips. Finding the first five will grant you 100 chips each, totalling at 500. From the fifth onward, each card will grant an additional 50 chips compared to the previous. This means the 6th card gives 150 chips, the 7th gives 200, the 8th gives 250 and so on all the way to the 54th card, which will reward you with a bonus of 2,550 chips. The total number of chips gained from cards is 66,650, worth the same amount in GTA$.

In these missions, you have to make use of mechanized and weaponized vehicles to eliminate enemies or retrieve these vehicles from the adversaries.

To start the MOM, you need to get inside the mobile operations centre which is essentially an armored truck. Inside there, you will find a screen that will require username and password to access the system. After having accessed the interface, you will see a screen with mission selection options. The screen displays a mobile operations note from where you will be able to select a mission and launch it.

These missions vary in their requirements and the goal that you have to obtain. In six of the missions, you have to use weaponized vehicles and in two of them, you have to retrieve these vehicles. These missions require good driving and shooting skills, as you have to commandeer weaponized automated vehicles to kill enemies and protect your people from the adversaries.

To find the first target, head over to the sandy shores and look for a secluded cargobob. Once done, find another one accompanied by a buzzard near harmony. From there, you will have to deal with a titan accompanied by a mesa from the sandy shores and then another titan with froggers.

Lastly, you will be asked to deal with a helicopter and a final run in with merryweather. After you are done, return the featured vehicles to the drop-off point in order to complete the mission.

Half-track bully

Requirements: 2 resupply missions

This gunrunning mobile operation in GTA online requires you to infiltrate a military base in order to find a half-track parked in there. After completing the hack, head inside the vehicle and take it to the drop-off zone without damaging it badly. After the mobile operation starts, take control of one of the three anti-aircraft trailer configurations and protect all three VIP npcs in the airplanes. While these npcs will be attacked both on land and in the air, we have found the air attacks to be more troublesome than the ground ones. One of the easier things about the mobile operation is the fact that three npcs arrive one-by-one and not simultaneously. After you are done protecting the vips, you will have to deliver the trailer to a drop-off zone at cypress flats.

Offshore assets

Payout: approx. $16,000

Requirements: 8 resupply missions

This mobile operation revolves around a downed freighter that has goodies that you and other potential parties need. In order to salvage the goodies, you are provided with an aquatic ATV that you must take to the seabed. However, as mentioned earlier, you should expect other parties to be in the area because they will be.

Payout: approx. $14,000

Requirements: 10 resupply missions

This simple mobile operation requires you to get a mobile operations center to a safe place while avoiding enemy fire. As simple as that!

Mole hunt

Payout: approx. $16,500

Requirements: 12 resupply missions

This mobile operation basically requires you to take control of a weaponized tampa in order to take down a rogue agent. In order to take him down, you will have to deal with signal jammers hiding his location. After successfully dealing with the signal jammers, you should easily be able to deal with the rogue agent and complete the mission.

Data breach

Payout: approx. $14,000

Requirements: 14 resupply missions

This mobile operation essentially revolves around enemies in possession of oppressors that they are using in order to transfer the stolen data. Your job is to steal the oppressors and deliver them to your friends without them taking a whole lot of damage.

Work dispute

Payout: approx. $14,000

Requirements: 16 resupply missions

This mobile operation requires you deal with a rogue MOC. However, do note that while dealing with the MOC, you will have to deal with a lot of ground support so bring your A-game to the field.

Weaponized vehicles

After completing the mobile operation mission, you unlock the weaponized vehicles used in those missions. You will now be able to buy these vehicles in warstock at a discounted price. These vehicles are listed below with their base prices but you will be able to buy them at a discounted price.

this is a heavily armored vehicle with a cannon mounted on the turret head. This launches swift shots of heavy explosives that deal a large amount of splash damage. It has the ability to traverse through both land and water while seating 4 passengers. It also has a porthole to use small firearms.

this light-vehicle can run off-roads as well. It has a machine gun mounted on the dash for use by the passenger. It has the passenger space of two, one for the driver and the other for the shooter. It can also be upgraded to hold grenade launcher and proximity mines.

Bravado half-track
price: $2,254,350
this three-seated heavy vehicle can traverse on any terrain. It has the ability to plough over any peace on land and has a double-barreled machine gun mounted on its turret. It can be upgraded to hold auto-cannons.

Pegassi oppressor

these are bikes with attached wings and jet-engine propulsion in them. They have the ability to glide in the air when you hit a huge bump and allow you to land with ease as well. this car has been heavily armored and upgraded to hold a mini-gun that is mounted on the front. All these will provide more routes, approaches and options like getaway decoys so you don't have to shoot up the place on your way out.

All-new gadgets and planning will only get you so far - you'll need to hire the best people for the job. Lester has connections but quality work comes at a price. In fact, all of this does. So how big of a score are we talking here?

Well, if you want to believe reddit (we do), the maximum payout you'll be able to bag is $2.1 million. Don't quit your day-job yet though as you'll need the money to cover your expenses, and those can rack up.

Lester will walk away with a 60K payday. And the rest of the expenses will depend on the crew you ended up selecting, plus those gadgets and vehicles do come with a price tag as well.

The diamond casino heist is the biggest ever to hit GTA online, and requires drawing up meticulous setup plans to walk away with the maximum payout. Here’s a run-down of the setup board for the diamond casino heist in GTA online so you can beat the house.

There are multiple different preparation options for you to choose from at nearly every stage of setup for the diamond casino heist – from when you’re casing the joint to when you’re breaking into the vault.

The first time you successfully run the heist is free. But you’ll have to pay to play thereafter.

GTA online diamond casino heist set up

Setup: arcade equipment

Next head over to your new digs and a cutscene will play and you’ll be able to begin the first set up missions by walking over to the laptop in the empty arcade basement.

Interacting with the laptop launches the first setup mission – arcade equipment – where you track down some initial kit for your hideout.

Make your way to the post op depository and chase down the jacked truck. Take out the drivers and schlep back to your arcade.

On your return another cutscene plays where lester runs through the prospective plan in three parts: scope, prepping, score. He also briefly goes over the three ways that you can play the heist: stealthy, aggressive, or “the big con”.

First on your list is scoping out the casino for opportunities.

Scoping out the casino – scope every entrance and POI

These are all optional objectives that give you more options when you’re infiltrating the casino. Scoping is split into two missions, scope out the casino and scope out the vault contents.

You can scope all of the access points in scoping the casino, but you can only get the first six points of interest. The others are gathered from the separate scout “vault contents” mission.

These are the six access points to the diamond casino :

Main door – at the front of the casino

Side doors – take pictures of the keypad doors on the sides of the casino, there’s one on the back and left-hand side

Roof terrace – four keypad doors, one next to the pool, one down the stairs behind the bar, two around the back jump off the ledge on the left-hand side of the pool and follow the path around

Security tunnel – in the tunnel under the racetrack at the back of the casino, take a picture of the garage door

Roof – take a picture of the two keypad doors either side of the helipad

Sewer tunnel – across the street from the casino is a big storm drain, head down into the sewer here and take a picture of the grate.

Finding these allows you to buy extras from your set up board, letting you find access points easier, or practise the skills you’ll need on the inside.

Casino model – $130,000 – highlights access points

Door security – $425,000 – practise hacking doors

Vault door – $900,000 – practise cracking vault

Diamond casino heist – should you choose aggressive, silent and sneaky, or the big con

Now that you’ve earmarked your possible points of entry, it’s time to choose your approach.

They’re pretty self explanatory: aggressive means you hit the casino hard and violently, silent relies on clandestine stealth, while the big con goes full ocean’s eleven with disguises and subterfuge.

All of the routes require a similar amount of prep, so choose whichever you like the look of most – you can always play the others later.

If you need more detail, here’s a rundown of each.

Aggressive heist approach

If you’re a fan of GTA online’s combat, then this is the approach for you. It involves fighting the casino security all the way through the building and using thermal charges to blow the vault open as well as the locked doors inside.

It has six mandatory set up missions, and seven optional with a further locked objective.

The six which you have to do are:

Get unmarked weapons

Find getaway vehicles

Acquire hacking device

Acquire vault keycards

Get thermal charges

Get vault explosives

The optional missions are:

Scout patrol routes

Disrupt duggan shipments

Acquire security intel

Get power drills

Get security passes

Acquire masks

Find reinforced armor

The big con approach

In this approach you don a disguise to get inside the casino, then sneak your way to the vault, drill it open, then grab as much as you can carry and fight your way out.

This is probably the most changeable approach, because you can find different entrance disguises and your plan changes quite a lot based on your entry point.

Through optional setup missions you can plan multiple disguises to get you out of the casino as well.

This approach has six mandatory set up missions which are:

Find a hacking device

Acquire vault keycards

Get your entry disguise

Get vault drills

There are seven optional set ups, which include:

Scout patrol routes

Disrupt duggan shipments

Acquire security intel

Silent and sneaky approach

This is probably the toughest of the three to pull off successfully. It involves sneaking into the building with silenced pistols without getting caught, before drilling open the vault with a laser and avoiding security cameras to ride off into the sunset.

As with the others, there are six setup missions you have to do, with eight optional ones.

Get vault keycards

Acquire a nano drone

Find vault laser

Your optional missions are the same as the big con, except that you can find an infiltration suit and steal an EMP instead of getting an exit disguise.

Once you’ve chosen your approach, it’s time to get to work. Remember you can pay to skip certain missions, but not all of them.

Completing all of the optional set up missions gives you the best chance of success, but is not 100% necessary. Their main purpose is to give you options for when things go sideways during the job – so if you’re unsure of your plan, make up for it by being prepared.

Which support crew should you choose for the diamond casino heist?

Your support crew for the diamond casino heist consists of a gunman, driver, and hacker.

These basically determine the difficulty level of the heist itself.

A better gunman will equip you with better weaponry.

While a better driver will get you better cars once you make a break for it.

Finally, a better hacker will give you more time in the vault without being detected.

Better support crews come at a higher cut of the total take, and some are more worth it than others. For instance, you’ll definitely want as much time in the vault as possible, so picking an expert hacker is an easy choice. But if you’re not planning on being detected, then top tier guns are a waste.

Take into account your overall approach and choose what fits your style.

GTA online diamond casino heist payout rewards

It’s what you’re here for after all. The total potential take in cash for one run of the diamond casino heist is $2,115,000.

On top of that, you’ll also need to purchase the VIP membership which costs you $500. Add on the cheapest penthouse’s staggering $1.5 million price tag, and you’ll need a fair chunk of money to unlock the diamond casino missions in GTA V.

How to start diamond casino missions in GTA V

Now that you’ve purchased the penthouse and the VIP membership, you’ll now unlock a new area of the diamond casino accessible only to management. You’ll also get a call from ms. Baker, who you’ll end up meeting here, so just follow the mission marker.

This is a quick guide for hosts and crew members alike to see the fairest split of money for each heist and hopefully overcome some of the ♥♥♥♥♥ing about what cut everybody should be getting.

For each job there is a host and crew cut displayed which add up to give the host and crew members the same (or as close as it can be) monetary gain from the course of the entire heist.

Also displayed is an excess percentage which can be shared between the players in the lobby as the host sees fit. You could split this excess based on any of the following:

Performance

Number of missions that a certain player has played with you

Which player has the most difficult job in the upcoming hiest finale

Who's name you like the most

. Or just keep it all for yourself as host.

Whatever floats your boat.

There are 2 main assumptions that this guide is based on at this time:

All heists are played on the same difficulty for the setup missions and the finale.
- Making this guide for a whole host of different combinations of difficulties would be too convoluted. There is a section at the end of this guide on how to work out the figures for yourself which you should follow if you are mixing and matching difficulties. Most public games you run into are all on normal difficulty in any case.

Setup mission rewards.
- The values are all accurate to what you will receive in-game although there do seem to be occasions that I notice while playing that the amount fluctuates (only ever by $500). I'm not quite sure why this happens but given that you will also receive money for any setups that you fail, that more than balances it out.

The other point to note is that I have included the payments given to crew members during the heist setup missions. This shouldn't be rocket science but as a crew member joining a heist finale you have either completed the necessary setup missions and so will get as much as the host at the end of the heist (since the host recieves no payment for setup missions) oryou have not invested the time in doing the setup missions and do not deserve the same amount as the heist leader at the end of the heist.

The pacific standard job has a mechanic attatched which will reduce your pay from the advertised amount which is something that not everybody who hasn't played the heist finale realises. Every time a crew member carrying a money bag takes damage, money is lost. This means that while the heist in theory pays out $1,000,000, in practice you will recieve much lower amounts. Even though this isn't really a guide for advice, a PSA would be to let one player take all the money from the vault. That way, you only lose money if they get hit.

With a fairly average team but decent bag carriers on normal difficulty, I have recieved around $700,000 from this job but with a bad crew or bad luck you will find that amount easily decreasing to $600,000 or under. The flip side of this is that with a good crew you might get $800,000 or more.

I have calculated several crew splits here for average ($700k), bad ($600K) and good ($800k) cases.
Bear in mind though that there's no guarantee of getting a certain payout and that if you get less than expected from the finale it is the host who loses out most having already payed the $100,000 setup fee and not recieved the $100,000 from setup missions.

For the finale of act 3, you will need to chose to use either the khanjali tank or the barrage ATV. Whichever vehicle you don't use is sold at the end of the hesit with all proceeds going to the host (via a text message after loading back into the game from the end-of-heist screen).
The cut you get from the sale of each vehicle is:

Khanjali: $100,000 (using the barrage)

Barrage: $50,000 (using the khanjali)

It's all very well and good seeing the figures but how did I arrive at these percentages? I'll give you an example using the series A funding heist (with slightly rounded values to make the maths nicer):

then take a look at the % of the final cut that the host is out due to not getting money from setup missions and from paying the setup cost:

We work out the percentage of the final cut needed to cover a cost using the formula shown below:

Initial cost:
- The host spends $40,400 on the heist.
- . Which is (40,400/404,000)*100 = 10% of the total heist payout.

Percentage needed to make up for not receiving money from setup:
- Everybody else receives a payment of $20,000 for each of the 5 setup missions which the host does not get and should be made up for by increasing the host's share.
- The host should receive an extra ((20,000*5)/404,000)*100 = 24.8% to make up for this.

Then use rockstar's default split as a starting point by assigning 15% to each player. Add the percentages calculated above to the host's 15% and see what is left. In this instance it is:

Host: 15+10+24.8 = 49.8 = 50%

Crew: 15%

Leftover: 5%

note:

What you end up with at this point is the percentage of the cut from the heist finale that the host would need to receive to have the same net profit as a crew member. There is some excess as you see which can be shared out as the host sees fit.
If that excess is 20% (i.E. If it can be divided by 4 to give a multiple of 5) then it can be split so that each crew member and the heist leader earns an additional 5% each.

This process has been followed for all of the heists that you see - it's not complicated but displaying the working for all the heists on different difficulties would waste too much space.

All there is to say here is that you can see how rockstar came up with their default 55/15/15/15 - they found the fairest split and then gave the excess to the host. I would consider splitting the excess over other players rather than giving it all to the host as rockstar have done but really it is up to you.

Introduction

Heists are an important element of grand theft auto online, and possibly one of the most integral parts of progression in the game.

They are the game's stand-in for end-content, being among the most difficult and most lucrative activities you can do. Heists require teamwork, coordination and skill, and completing them successfully will reward you accordingly.

If you're saving up for something big, chances are you'll do heists. They will follow you across your GTA online career, becoming available early on while staying relevant and important even once you've unlocked everything and own a bunch of high-end items.

Heists are broken down into set-up missions and the finale. The set-ups themselves tend to be easier, and aren't particularly rewarding to complete, whereas the finale is the real attraction. It is possible for teams to be backfilled if someone leaves in between missions, however a full team of four is always required for all heist missions.

Heisting with random players isn't ideal (though not as bad as people say), so we suggest you try and find a team of regulars to play with.

A lot goes into running a successful heist. Knowing the mechanics and special gameplay of the individual set-up missions and the harder finales, as well as knowing what kind of tactics to employ to avoid obvious pitfalls and other fail-states.

Beyond a grasp of how the game works, you'll need to be able to cooperate with your team and listen to what everyone is saying. In order to keep the team coherent and cooperative, you also need to make sure you've distributed the earnings fairly, which is also covered by this guide.

Getting started

If you reach rank 12 and have a high-end apartment, you will be able to play 4-player cooperative heists online. Lester will call you, and youвђ™ll need to go see him. After that, lester will call whenever you can play a new heist, and you can call him to replay a heist.

The time you must wait in between heists is roughly 15 minutes. Heists in GTA online can be played on three difficulty levels. Playing on normal earns you twice as much as playing on easy, and playing on hard earns you 25% more than playing on normal.

Once you accept or request a heist, you become the heist leader. The heist leader can invite any player who has played the GTA online tutorial through the first LTS job from gerald. The leader must front the costs, but also determines how the total payout will be divided.

The ability to split the payout means the heist leader can earn a lot of money. If you're hoping to make a lot of money through heists, work out a plan with your team about how you want to divide the payouts. This is covered later on in the guide.

In addition to the payout division, you'll want to work out in advance the role each player will perform, as explained later on when we get to the set-up missions. Communicating with your teammates will make heists a lot easier, as will understanding their strengths and weaknesses and being prepared with good equipment such as silencers and body armor.

Heists involve multiple missions. The heist leader will earn 10% additional RP from setup missions, but only the other participants will earn money. Setup missions usually earn you around $15k-$20k. Once you finish a single setup mission, all the players will be returned to freemode. The heist leader can then start the next part of the heist.

Back when GTA online launched, you unlocked adversary modes by completing heists. Back then there were only 3 modes available. Today, there are 45 types of adversary modes with hundreds of missions, and they are no longer tied to heist completion.

Every heist has its own elite challenges.

Missions

Here you'll find a general rundown of how the various heists are structured and what each mission leading up to the finale, including said finale, is comprised of. You'll get an idea of what to expect in terms of mechanics and what encounters you'll be facing, so plan accordingly.

Heist #1 вђ“ the fleeca job

Elite challenges вђ“ you finish in less than 11:00, the vehicle takes no more than 2% damage, and no player dies.

Mission #1 вђ“ two players, one as the buyer and one as a bodyguard, must get the keycards from your contact. Having two lookouts is also recommended. If youвђ™re having trouble with this mission #2 вђ“ you must steal two insurgent lapvs from merryweather. Since the vehicles are armed, having a gunner in each one will aid your escape.

Mission #3 вђ“ you must steal an EMP from the nose of a hydra jet on a naval carrier. While one player gets the hydra, the others should pilot jets to help out. You must get the hydra back to your rendezvous point.

Mission #4 вђ“ you must steal a valkyrie from merryweatherвђ™s base. You can either choose stealth or a head-on approach. Once you get the valkyrie, shoot down the attacking helicopters.

Mission #5 вђ“ drive a stolen LAPV, with the EMP inside, into humane labs and park it. You donвђ™t want to be caught, and a silencer might help in case you need to fight.

Heist info вђ“ one team will enter humane labs wearing night vision goggles and rebreathers, in order to get the files. The other group will fly the valkyrie to drop off the first team, pick them up at the end, and fight off enemy reinforcements in the meantime.

Special unlockables вђ“ hydra and valkyrie

To get the hydra jet, you must finish the third mission, in which you retrieve the EMP. This mission is only available if either youвђ™ve hosted both the fleeca job and the prison break, or if youвђ™re playing with a host who has. Afterwards, visit the in-game website for warstock cash & carry to purchase a hydra for $3 million.

To get the valkyrie combat helicopter, you must finish the fourth mission, in which you steal the valkyrie. Like with the hydra, youвђ™ll only be able to access this mission if you or your host has previously hosted the fleeca job and the prison break. Afterwards, visit the warstock cash & carry site to purchase it for $2.85 million.

The two variants of the HVY insurgent, also unlocked through this heist, can be purchased for $675,000 (regular) and $1.35 million (armored).

Elite challenges вђ“ you finish in less than 6:30, you kill 75 enemies, and no player dies.

Mission #1 вђ“ one team will go by air and another by water. The water team should approach the yacht to steal the drugs, while the air team should either provide firepower from a distance or swoop in to drop their passenger. Collect all of the packages and get back to land through the tunnels, and head to the last objective.

Mission #2 - steal a garbage truck and then collect garbage bags from four different spots. Watch out for the waves of enemies that will try to stop you. Be careful when fighting at the gas station that you don't blow it up.

Mission #3 - take silenced weapons to the dingy and use stealth to take out the enemies in the trailer park. You should split into two groups and coordinate your attacks. Take the van from the north edge of the trailer park and escape, with everyone but the driver shooting your pursuers.

Mission #4 - have two players act as lookouts and snipers at first while the others remain on the ground. Beware of the train. Clear out the enemies and head for the trucks. Two players should take the gunner truck while the others get the remaining trucks. Escape to the drop off point.

Mission #5 - go to the farm wearing your mask and take care of the enemies, although you should be all right if you leave some alive. Head to the back and have two players drive trucks in front and behind the tanker to protect it as you make your escape. Explosives may be tempting, but might cause you trouble due to the close range.

Heist info - defend the warehouse, both by shooting from cover and using mines when necessary. After that, have two players use the trucks to protect the vans as you move them. When driving, use the bridge as cover if the helicopters are giving you too much trouble, and fend off all enemies until you reach your goal.

Heist #5 вђ“ the pacific standard job

Cost вђ“ $100,000

Total payout вђ“ $500,000 (easy), $1,000,000 (normal), $1,250,000 (hard)

Unlockables - savage, principe lectro, and gang burrito van.

Elite challenges - you finish in less than 10:15, NOOSE isn't called, and no player dies.

Mission #1 - you'll take two cars, each of which has a driver and a navigator. The navigators must use their phones to locate vans. You'll need pictures of all the vans' license plates, after which lester will tell you which one to steal. Steal it and drive it back to him.

Mission #2 - take the transponder from the stolen van to an island, where avi schwartzman is hiding. Take out the helicopter, fight the police on the island, and take avi to the indicated boat. The next part is a timed mission, but be careful. When you reach the lake, head toward the center so you can shake off police interest, and then drive avi to your goal.

Mission #3 - head to vinewood as two teams: one transporter and three decoys. Find the white van and take it to vinewood boulevard, where you'll fight a number of enemies. Once the coast is clear, the transporter player should grab the equipment you need and return to the white van, while the decoys get into the black van. Distract the enemies until the transporter reaches the goal, and then destroy the black van.

Mission #4 - first, you must ambush a convoy to steal a military truck, so block the road with as many vehicles as you can. A helicopter will come first, followed by the convoy. Make sure you don't destroy the truck in the fighting. Two players should take the truck, and the other two should take an insurgent. Head toward the drop-off point, defeat any enemies that remain, and take the truck to the goal.

Mission #5 - head to the lost's clubhouse to steal the lectro sports bikes. Fight the lost, but make sure you don't destroy the bikes in the process. Steal the bikes and drive to the drop-off point, avoiding the lost's roadblocks and fighting them along the way.
Tip: as you leave the clubhouse, your map will prompt you to turn right. If you head straight instead, and go right at the next turn, you will bypass the roadblocks.

Heist info - you'll split into three teams: one hacker, one for demolition, and two for crowd control. Head to the bank and go inside. The crowd control players should kill the guards and keep everyone else intimidated by shooting nearby. The other two must go to the vault.

The demolition player should use thermite charges on the door at the back of the lobby and the next one at the top of the stairs. When that door opens, one of the crowd control players needs to head to the back room to intimidate the tellers and kill any security that arrives. Meanwhile, the hacker should get through the next door, after which demolitions will get through the next gate. After that, they should grab the money and meet up with crowd control at the exit. Only one player should take the money. Any players with the stolen money will lose some when hit, and it's easier to defend one player than two. The player with the money should try to avoid combat.

A very challenging fight with the police awaits you on the other side, and you'll fail if you try to stay in the bank for too long. Clear out a path and fight your way to the bikes. You can either use them or a car to escape. There should be a police car you can steal, or a SWAT van if the alarm is sounded during the heist. You also might want to drive the bikes or a car to the vinewood police department to grab the helicopter on the roof. Once you have your vehicle of choice, don't follow the waypoints! Instead, follow the left highway until you reach the cliff, and then parachute (or drive, if you understand the path well enough) to the boat down below. Drive the boat to the goal to complete the final heist. The player with the money should duck to avoid losing any more along the way.

One-time extra payouts

There are number of extra challenges that you can complete (one time per character) in order to receive extra payouts as below.

First time - finish each heist for the first time for a $100,000 bonus.
First person - complete all the heist setups and finales in first person mode to get a bonus of $100,000. (host must set camera to first person)
all in order - play all of the heists and their setup missions in order for a $1,000,000 bonus.
Loyalty - play all of the heists and their setup missions with the same team for a $1,000,000 bonus.
Criminal mastermind - play all of the heists and their setup missions on hard, in order, with the same team, without any players dying for a massive $10,000,000 bonus.

General tips for heists

Get A vest

As the host of the heist, you have quite a few settings open for you. Before you begin the first set-up, you should select "player saved outfits". Beforehand, it is handy to pick up a heist vest, with is either the black or grey combat vests, as these will significantly boost survivability.

They halve all damage received, regardless where it's coming from, and this effect does not degrade or run out. Use these vests in a heist whenever possible. Granted, they do make you run a tad slower, but you can make up for it with the good old run'n'jump technique. Just keep sprinting and hammer that jump button like there is no tomorrow (be mindful of ledges though, or thereв really won't be a tomorrow for your character).

Refill your supplies

Three things you'll need for a successful heist run is ammo (duh), snacks and armor. What many, many players seem to forget, thus ending up as bloody splats on a wall, is that you can refill and use these from the interaction menu even while in a heist. Now, we're not suggesting you stand around mid-gunfight to fiddle with a menu. While in cover (or if you're the kind of guy that tears toilet paper with one hand, while driving), you can pull up the menu to munch some health back into your system, equip more armor, and to buy more ammunition.

An added bonus is that while you're in cover, running, or driving, you can spam snacks without waiting for the eating animation to play.

In fact, if you don't dally too much, cover is something of a safe haven. Many players aren't mindful of their current status (despite, you know, the bloody red rave show the screen turns into when you're near death. ). You should always keep track of your health and armor levels, and if you're running low, get into cover and do what we outlined in the previous paragraph.

Know the map

Map awareness goes a long way. If you're playing the given heist for the first time, you might feel compelled to follow the path the GPS tells you to, helpfully highlighted with yellow navigation lines. While these certainly won't lead you astray, knowing the map, or simply pulling it up, will allow you to find better routes. Most experienced players have their own preferred routes to follow, and these often yield better results.

Your team is critical

One of the biggest problems that heist teams face is coordination and the fact that one guy's inability will drag the other three down too. If the planets align, a blood moon rises and the tides reverse, you might find a heist team of randoms that actually have enough intelligence between the three of them for you pull off a setup successfully. And you can always invite the same trio back for more.

If you do this, remain patient and give them a few minutes as they might be stuck in a loading screen for a while. The way these invite notifications work, they'll see them even in the loading screen, as it arrives via the PS4 or xbox interface, not the in-game phone.

Set yourself to passive

If the inevitable does happen, and someone bites the dust, you can always retry from the last checkpoint, no need to start the whole thing again. A good precaution is to set yourself to passive before the heist begins, because this way some random player, or god forbid, one of your teammates might gun you down after completion just for the laughs, meaning you lose a good portion of the cash you've worked so hard to steal earn.

The armored kuruma

One of the best "jolly jokers" of doing heists is the obscenely overpowered armored kuruma. Sitting in that thing is almost like having a bunker as it takes ages for its armor to be whittled down. If you have a kuruma, bring it. If someone else has a kuruma, get in.
